You can swim, but you know something's off. Maybe you tire quickly, struggle to breathe efficiently, or feel like you're fighting the water instead of moving through it. Stroke improvement coaching fixes the technical issues that hold adult swimmers back.

What Gets Analyzed

Bibiana evaluates your stroke mechanics from entry angle and catch position to body rotation, kick timing, and breathing pattern. Most adult swimmers develop inefficient habits over years of self-taught swimming. Identifying and correcting these habits produces dramatic improvements in speed and endurance.

Strokes Covered

All four competitive strokes are available: freestyle (front crawl), backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Most sessions focus on one stroke at a time to allow deep, focused work rather than surface-level corrections across multiple techniques.

Progressive Drills

Stroke coaching uses targeted drills like single-arm freestyle, catch-up drill, and sculling to isolate and correct specific technical problems. Drills are practiced until the corrected movement becomes automatic before being integrated into full-stroke swimming.

Who Benefits Most

This program is ideal for adults who swim regularly but feel inefficient, adults preparing for open water events, and anyone who learned to swim informally and wants to build proper technique from the ground up.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my stroke needs improvement?

Common signs include getting tired after a few laps, sinking hips, difficulty breathing without stopping, or being a significantly slower swimmer than others at your fitness level.

Do you use video analysis?

Video analysis can be incorporated on request. Seeing your own stroke is often the most powerful teaching tool. Many swimmers don't realize what they're actually doing in the water.

How many sessions to see real improvement?

Most swimmers see meaningful technique improvement in 3–5 sessions. Ingraining new habits well enough that they persist in race or workout conditions typically takes 8–12 sessions.

Can you coach butterfly?

Yes. Butterfly is the most technically demanding stroke and the one adults most often want help with. Bibiana coaches all four strokes including butterfly.
